RSV Vaccination Programme
RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) is one of the common viruses that cause coughs and colds in winter.
RSV epidemics occur regularly each year, generally starting in October and peaking in December, and those most at risk are the very young and the elderly.
NHS England would like us to start offering the RSV vaccine to all patients who fall within certain age groups, and they would like this to start from the beginning of September. This means that we will be contacting our eligible patients shortly and asking if they would like to come in and be vaccinated for this.
If you would like more information on this virus and / or the vaccine – please visit the NHS Website or speak to one of our staff members.
Thank You.
